About Under my artist name, Linn, I have produced and released multiple albums and singles, both in English as well as my mother tongue Danish. In 2025 I also created a mindful songwriting course.
Musical approach My music mixes simplicity, power and vulnerability, often drawing on spirituality, nature, childhood and sensuality for inspiration. I almost never decide to write a song – instead they come to me. Often out of nowhere, when I’m out in the world, biking or just doing everyday stuff, a melody or lyric will pop into my head. I sing into my phone and later work with the recording by meditating on the input, freestyling and experimenting.
Producing After being told time and time again that I needed to polish and master my music, I decided not to listen and instead challenge the status quo and become an example that shows you don’t need to professionally produce music in order to release it. n 2015 I wrote and recorded 3 albums without any producing experience. In 2022 I released them to Spotify along with a couple of Danish singles.
Background I am self-taught and used to sing in church, gospel and worship choirs and I started my own gospel choir at age 13 and formed a duo at 19. After moving out from home at 17 and into my friends family’s basement I started writing songs. They had an old, out-of-tune piano in my room and over the next 6 months I wrote about 30 songs. When I hitchhiked alone through the South island of New Zealand in 2012 I used to come up with songs during the many hours I walked along the empty highway
